Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
