۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
