Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 The living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
