Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 watching over you 11 They know all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what do you know of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Shattering (Al-Infitaar). Sent down in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
