Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
