The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 when they were seated around it 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
