We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
