Most surely We help Our apostles, and those who believe, in this world's life and on the day when the witnesses shall stand 51 The excuses of the unjust will be of no benefit to them on that day. They will be condemned to live in a most terrible abode. 52 And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture 53 for guidance and a reminder for those of understanding. 54 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. And ask forgiveness for thy sin, and proclaim the praise of thy Lord at evening and dawn. 55 Verily those who dispute regarding the Signs of Allah without any evidence that might have come to them, nothing but vain pride fills their hearts. Yet they shall never be able to satisfy the pride with which they are puffed up. So seek refuge with Allah. Verily He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. 56 Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not. 57 And the blind and the seeing are not alike, nor those who believe and do good and the evil-doer; little is it that you are mindful. 58 Most surely the hour is coming, there is no doubt therein, but most people do not believe. 59 Your Lord said: “Pray to Me, and I will accept your prayers. Surely those who wax too proud to worship Me shall enter Hell, utterly abased.” 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
