Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 Shall We treat the Muslims like criminals? 35 What has come upon you that you judge in such a wise? 36 Do you have a book from which you study 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or have ye Covenants with Us to oath, reaching to the Day of Judgment, (providing) that ye shall have whatever ye shall demand? 39 Ask them: “Which of them can guarantee that? 40 Or have they, perchance, any sages to support their views? Well, then, if they are sincere in this their claim, let them produce those supporters of theirs 41 On the Day when the leg shall be bared, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. 42 Their eyes will be cast down and they will be covered in shame; they were bidden to prostrate themselves, when they were safe and sound [but they did not obey]. 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Or do they have any knowledge of the Unseen which they are now writing down? 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him, he would have been blamed, cast upon the shore. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 When the disbelievers listen to you reciting the Quran they almost try to destroy you with their piercing eyes. Then they say, "He is certainly insane". 51 Yet it is purely an admonition to mankind. 52
