Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak 1 From the evil of that which He created 2 "and from the evil of the black darkness whenever it descends, 3 from the evil of the blowers on knots; 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
