Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
