۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
