Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
