Abraham was (equal to) a nation, obedient to Allah, of pure faith and was not among the idolaters, 120 [for he was always] grateful for the blessings granted by Him who had elected him and guided him onto a straight way. 121 We gave goodness to him in this world, and in the Everlasting Life he shall be amongst the righteous. 122 Afterwards We revealed unto thee: follow thou the faith of Ibrahim the upright; and he was not of the associaters. 123 The Sabbath was made obligatory only upon those who differed in it; and indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matter in which they differed. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out: But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient. 126 And be patient and your patience is not but by (the assistance of) Allah, and grieve not for them, and do not distress yourself at what they plan. 127 Lo! Allah is with those who keep their duty unto Him and those who are doers of good. 128
