Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
