Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
