We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
