The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
