Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
