Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
