Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 The chiefs of his people said: Most surely we see you in clear error. 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, give you sincere advice, and I know from Allah that which you do not know. 62 Do you wonder that a Remembrance should come to you from your Lord to a man from yourselves in order that he may warn you and that you may be cautious so that mercy comes upon you' 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
