But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
