Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
