Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
