▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 therein maidens good and comely -- 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
