Nooh 2 of 2
Noah supplicated, "Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed those whose wealth and children have only added to their ruin; 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- 23 They have led many astray; so lead the wrongdoers to further error." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them. 25 And Noah (supplicated) saying: 'My Lord, do not leave a single unbeliever upon the earth. 26 if You leave any, they will misguide Your servants, and they will beget none but sinners and deniers of truth -- 27 My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction." 28
