Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
