Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
