Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Those who disbelieved – be they from the People of the Book or from those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity – will not desist from unbelief until the Clear Proof should come to them; 1 A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures 2 Containing correct scriptures. 3 And those who are vouchsafed the Book divided not save after there had come unto them the evidence. 4 And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. 5 Verily those who disbelieve from among the people of the Book and the associaters shall be cast into the Hell-fire, as abiders therein. These! they are the worst of the creation. 6 Verily those who believe and work righteous works - these! they are the best of the creation. 7 Whose reward is with their Lord -- gardens of Eden with rivers flowing by, where they will abide for ever, God pleased with their service, they with obedience to Him. This (awaits) him who stands in awe of his Lord. 8
