No, by the moon! 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
