Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Have you heard the story of the overwhelming event (the Day of Judgment)? 1 [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, 2 Labouring, wearied out, 3 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. 4 given to drink from a boiling spring. 5 they shall have no food but thorns, 6 Which doth not nourish nor release from hunger. 7 Some faces on that Day will be radiant, 8 Glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did in this world, along with the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism). 9 In a lofty garden, 10 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 Therein will be Thrones (of dignity), raised on high, 13 And cups set at hand. 14 And cushions ranged! 15 and outspread carpets. 16 Have they not looked at how the camel is created, 17 And at the Sky, how it is raised high?- 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 and on the earth, how it is spread out? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, 23 will be punished by God with the greatest punishment. 24 To Us is surely their returning; 25 And Ours their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
