And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
