We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
