The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
