Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
