The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 and a few from later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and waters gushing, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
