The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
