But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
