Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 It will be like molted brass which will boil in the bellies 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 “Seize him and drag him to the middle of the Blazing Fire, 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
