O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness, and the scandal mongers in Madinah do not desist from their vile acts, We shall urge you to take action against them, and then they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you. 60 cursed they shalt be, and wheresoever they are come upon they shall be seized and slaughtered all -- 61 The tradition of Allah prevalent among those who passed away before; and you will never find the traditions of Allah changing. 62 Men ask thee of the Hour. Say: The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What can convey (the knowledge) unto thee? It may be that the Hour is nigh. 63 Verily God has cursed the infidels, and prepared a blazing fire for them. 64 therein they shall abide for ever. They shall find none to protect or help them. 65 On the day when their faces will be overturned being roasted inside the fire, they will say, “Alas – if only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed His Noble Messenger!” 66 And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way. 67 Our Lord, mete out to them a double chastisement and lay upon them a mighty curse.” 68
