Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
We sent this (the Holy Koran) down on the Night of Honor. 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night of Power is? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 The angels along with the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord with all kinds of decrees. 4 Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. 5
