Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
