For, God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; and on the Day when the Last Hour dawns - on that Day will be lost all who [in their lifetime] tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 27 And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do. 28 This, Our record, will speak about you truthfully. We had everything you did recorded in it. 29 Those who believed and did good deeds will be admitted by their Lord into His mercy -- that shall be the manifest triumph. 30 But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): "Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals)." 31 “And when it was said, ‘Indeed Allah’s promise is true and there is no doubt regarding the Last Day”, you used to say, ‘We do not know what the Last Day is – we think it is nothing except an imagination, and we are not convinced.’” 32 The evil of what they had done will become clear to them, and they will be seized by what they had scorned. 33 And it will be said: Today We shall forget you, even as ye forgat the meeting of this your Day, and your abode will be the Fire, and none ye will have as helpers. 34 "This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace. 35 So to God belongs praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, Lord of all Being. 36 And for Him only is the Greatness, in the heavens and in the earth; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 37
