The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
