The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 so fear God and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Go ye in, of all creatures, unto the males? 165 keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!" 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 My Lord, deliver me and my family from their wicked deeds." 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 Then We destroyed the rest of them, 172 And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned. 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might Most Merciful. 175
