When We said to the angels: 'Prostrate yourselves before Adam' all prostrated themselves except iblis, who was one of the jinn, disobedient to the command of his Lord. Would you then take him and his descendants to be your guardians, other than Me, when they are your clear enemy? How evil is the exchange for the harmdoers! 50 ۞ I made them not witnesses of the creation of the heavens and earth, neither of the creation of themselves; I would not ever take those who lead others astray to be My supporters. 51 The day He will say: "Call those you had called My compeers," they will call them, but will get no response, and We shall place a gulf between them. 52 The sinners will see the Fire and know that they will be thrown into it and will not find a way of escape from it. 53
