Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him [Musa (Moses)]. 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention Ismail in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 54 He enjoined his household to observe Prayer and to give Zakah (purifying alms); and his Lord was well pleased with him. 55 Commemorate Enoch in the Book. He was a truthful person and a prophet, 56 We raised him to a high position. 57 Those were they unto whom Allah bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nuh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Israel and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Beneficent (Allah) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But they are succeeded by a generation who neglect their devotional obligations and follow only earthly pleasures; but they will reach the wrong road and meet destruction, 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 Gardens of Eden, which the Beneficent hath promised to His slaves in the unseen. Lo! His promise is ever sure of fulfilment - 61 They hear therein no idle talk, but only Peace; and therein they have food for morn and evening. 62 This is the garden which We cause those of Our servants to inherit who guard (against evil). 63 (The angels will say): "(O Muhammad!) We descend not except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that is in between. Your Lord is not forgetful in the least. 64 "Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?" 65
