۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 This is well within the power of God. 17 AND NO BEARER of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; and if one weighed down by his load calls upon [another] to help him carry it, nothing thereof may be carried [by that other,] even if it be one's near of kin. Hence, thou canst [truly] warn only those who stand in awe of their Sustainer although He is beyond the reach of their perception, and are constant in prayer, and [know that] whoever grows in purity, attains to purity but for the good of his own self, and [that] with God is all journeys' end. 18 For [thus it is:] the blind and the seeing are not equal; 19 nor darkness and light; 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 nor are the living and the dead. God causes whom He will to hear Him, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear you. 22 thou art naught but a warner. 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 If they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs; the Psalms, and the Illuminating Book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
