Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the morning brightness 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
