Hizb 46
< random >
Verily Jonah is one of the apostles. 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. 163 The angels say, "Each of us has an appointed place. 164 Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows for the prayers (as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); 165 we are they that give glory. 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
